EA Affiliation

England Athletics (EA) affiliation. Runs 1st April to 31st March. If you're affiliating for the first time let us know if you wish us to activate your EA membership now or wait until 1st April 2026. If your EA athlete profile (within my athletics portal) shows as a 'Competitive Athlete' you have requested/paid for affiliation. NOTE: It can take up to 2 weeks to complete the affiliation process with EA once initiated by Somer AC

England Athletics is part of UK Athletics (UKA), and registration is only available via affiliated running or athletics clubs. Registering is optional but it offers benefits:

• Entry discounts (minimum £2) on EA/UKA licensed road and multi-terrain events
• Various EA Exclusive Partner Discounts, 15% Sports Shoes, 20% SIS, 10% Shokz, 18% Gameplan Healthcare, 20% Coopah Membership
• Early Bird ticket access to major events via British Athletics
• Competition eligibility to enter a range of competitions held under UKA rules
• Access to Power of 10 to track your performances
• Up to 50% off courses to become a coach or leader
• Free official course for all parents of U11 registered athletes
• Designated newsletters for athletes
• A chance to enter the club ballot for a London Marathon place. (EA/UKA Affiliated competitive athletes only who have been EA members for a full membership year or more and a active club member, must present evidence of rejection from public ballot, race entry fees & T&C's apply)
